All GT1 class cars are now balanced to the point where I no longer can tell them apart in anything but feel. No one will ever say that one car has an advantage over another, cause they are equal. Will there be a beta release for testing ? btw... do/will the digital tachs work ?

Has the WGTS Lamborghini been converted to heat?

Good to hear X-Ter...you probably deserve a break from those amazingly stunningly physics you have created. Drink responsible ;D
Yes the digital tachs will work if I can find Team Players tutorial on how to make one because I can't remember how to do it. If anybody has it please send it my way. redle@charter.net
And no I didn't convert the Lambo but I could probably add it in to the mix but then Magnus will have to create yet another set of physics for another GT1 class car. But if enough interest is there I will do it also...if it's a later addon to the mod.

Sweet looking cars, guys!! I just can't stop thinking about this mod, I'm going crazy ;D Hey Carlos, awesome smilie ;D Brandon, I'll hook you up with the tutorial. Just need to find it. But let's just make this clear, cause I don't get it. Here's what mktex says when I feed a 2048x2048 TGA to it: ___________________________ wrong size texture: width = 2048 ___________________________ how come it works for you? Could you upload somewhere a sample TGA and a mktex you have maybe? P.S. An add-on for the mod sounds great to me P.P.S. 575 cockpit looks stunning, it just seems the windshield could be a lil more transparent, other than that, it's truely great

Here is the Lister Storm cockpit finished up. ;D Lister I'm not really sure why that tga isn't as trasparent as the rest of them I will look into that...didn't pay it much attention earlier. Looking forward to the tutorial and when I get back home I will upload the mktex I have.

550 at Laguna Seca 08.15.356: res: ResourceGet("jwheel.stp") not found, returning NULL! 08.15.356: res: ResourceGet("jdetent.stp") not found, returning NULL! 08.15.356: res: ResourceGet("needle.mod") not found, returning NULL! Anybody know where to find those first two stp's at? I found them in a crash log when I tried to hit the stats button in the replay at Laguna? Any clue on what they do?

Oh and Magnus, are there going to be some base setups included too? Pretty please

Pretty drunk now but yes, there will be a base setup included. Actually, the best base setup is to put everything to medium and then go for the softer side. This is because the WGTS cars are generally lighter than cup cars.

Check out the comparision picture of ingame shot at 1024 and replay at 512...eeek lol By the way what kind of car does WGTS use for a pacecar? I looked around on google but I couldn't come up with anything.

That's some hell of a difference But, that's probably because of resizing. If you were to render/export the template from 3dsmax as 512x512 and then use unchanged logos and stuff on a 512x512 template, it wouldn't be as bad, or at least it shouldn't. But that would be a lot of work I assume, so it ain't worth it. We'll use high res offline anyway, and when online we can bear with it

I mean, wake up, it's XXI century, get a life and get an ISP already (not you, I mean, those who do use modems ) Oleg, I can only wish, hope and dream of the day when I either move or a company runs lines/cables for high speed internet up here in the mountains. Until then, I'm STUCK with 56K dialup @ 26400bps. Dislocated in rural America... LOL

Check out the comparision picture of ingame shot at 1024 and replay at 512...eeek lol An awesome mod you are working on their Brandon. The 1024 does look better than the 512, but... For some of us we need the smallest resolution possible, especially for online action. Did you by chance resize the larger image to the smaller size? If so, did you unsharpen to help get the image crisp again? Well, if the 512 helps me race online or offline with a few AI's... I don't think I'll notice much difference at 180 mph anyways LOL.

Thanks for the nice comments jhandle. I am trying to keep the mod as low file size as I can but it's going to be pushing 80megs atleast. Here are the last two cockpits I had to finish up. M3 Cockpit 550 Cockpit Later guys.

You are welcome Brandon. I don't mind burning up my 56K for downloading large files all night. Nice having GetRight LOL. It's just difficult getting those antique copper wires to play nice online. I went as far once to make 256 car textures for my online competition. It was boring to look at, but it helped to keep me in the action.

Hey man sorry for the long time with no pictures posted up. I been really busy with everyday life trying to get moved into my new trailer and stuff. I took a quick picture for ya at Becancour though. I am working on all the little things (which they are quite a few) that my beta testers are pointing out to me that need to be fixed before final release. I am still working on a few secret things that I am trying to get to work. But enough babbling on my part here is a quick screenie...

Here is my old lady's first attempt at making a screen for nascar heat. I still have to move the buttons around, but you get the idea of what she'll be coming up with. Comments are welcome.
